- Kanye West says the cover art for his new album, "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy," has been banned. "Banned in the USA!!! They don't want me chilling on the couch with my phoenix!" he tweeted. He later offered: "In the 70s album covers had actual nudity... It's so funny that people forget that... Everything has been so commercialized now." One more? "So Nirvana can have a naked human being on they cover but I can't have a PAINTING of a monster with no arms and a polka dot tail and wings." - Looking for a music autobiography a bit more interesting than Justin Bieber's tome? How about "Life," by Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards? It comes out next week and Richards claims that his lifelong buddy Mike Jagger is not really his lifelong buddy. He says the frontman became "unbearable" in the early 1980s. Oh, he also says Jagger is not ... well-endowed.
- Rapper Eyedea of underground rap favorites Eyedea & Abilities passed away over the weekend. He was 28.
