District man fatally shot in Northeast

D.C. police are investigating a fatal shooting Wednesday morning that left one man dead.

Marcus Parham, of the District, was shot multiple times in the 4500 block of Quarles Street NE at approximately 8:25 a.m., police said.

Parham was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

No motive or suspects have been named in the case, which is still under investigation.
