A suspect in a domestic shooting in Randallstown has been found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Baltimore County police spokesman Lt. Rob McCullough says officers entered the home shortly after 1 p.m. Thursday and found the body of 36-year-old Terrence Wilson.
Wilson was believed to have barricaded himself in the home after shooting his wife Thursday morning. The woman suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body and face and was flown to a trauma center. An 8-year-old child was also in the home and was uninjured.
McCullough says officers were unable to make contact with Wilson and went inside to check on his well-being.
Online court records do not indicate that Wilson had a violent history. He was convicted on a drug charge in 1999.
